Napa, California, Wine Country. June 4, 2013

One of Marion's requests was to visit Napa Valley. We spent a few nights at Travis AFB and went for lunch in Napa, California. The hills around here are so classic California and scattered among them are the vineyards. Looks to me like crops are only grown where there is irrigation.
The City of Napa is a River Landing Town.

Wine tours on the train.

The river looking north.
We parked on the top floor.
They have transformed the Historic Napa Mill
into restaurants and condos.
See how the mill is on the river.
They left the mill stacks.
We ate at the Napa
General Store Restaurant.
Silo's was right next door.
Another good restaurant.

Entry into the condos.
A beautiful place to live!
Vintage Sweet Shop for dessert!
Great decorations.
See how they left the mill parts!
YUM!
How do you choose?
I enjoyed every bite even if
I can't remember which one I got. LOL

Along the same street but not at
the mill, the Visitor's Center is
in the White Building.
How often do you see fresh
flowers in the public restroom?

Imaginative way to use
cupcake holders!
As we were leaving, I
spied this beautiful church.
We didn't visit the cupcake store or the church as we were running late. A good reason for another visit back to beautiful Napa Valley. Oh, yes, and the train ride will have to be later, too.
