Gilroy Gardens, Garlic Capital of the World, May 25, 2013

It's Memorial Day weekend and we thought it not a good idea to be in Yosemite National Park if we didn't have to. So we settled on Gilroy, California, east of Monterey just over the mountains and near Mission San Juan Batista. What we didn't know was that Gilroy Gardens is a wonderful park for 2-6 year olds. They began with a man who loved to shape trees so the grounds were interesting, too.
