Astoria, Oregon Grace Episcopal Church, June 23, 2013

I found this beautiful church easy enough but how to get in was another story.

Church is in a great neighborhood of old houses.
Glad I don't have to walk
up these steps! Main Entrance =>
Grace Episcopal Church 1884

Ahh, the red door entry.
Check out the mailbox on the left.
I had to leave early so I didn't get
photos of the altar or windows.
24 Priests since 1864. They will
celebrate 150 years next year.
This church was erected by the devise of
Susan Shively in her last will and testament.

In Memory of Rev. Thomas Hyland
1864 founded this church and was the
first rector until 1878. Church built
in 1884. This sign erected in 1919.
Window AND the rope to the bell tower.

I thought this was a church.
Not a church but the
Clatsop Community College
Performing Center. This looks
high, but the town goes much higher.

Going up from the College.
Masonic Center nearby.
