Midway Museum Part 3 Ready Room

The Ready Room is where the pilots were briefed on the flights. Their landings were graded and score was kept on the greenie board. (Remember the green ball means the plane is lined up with the ship.)

Daughter and Granddaughter of Charlie really loved being here.
The earphones are part of the audio tour equipment.
Charlie has flown all three of these planes.
VA-25 Association that keeps us
together and has reunions.

A nice sampling of squadrons
A special and well done wall to
honor those men who didn't come home.

After Charlie left VA-25, he was an instructor in the Training Command
in Texas, then to Jacksonville, FL and transitioned to A-7 jets.
