I visited Navy Friends from VA-25 and Marty volunteers at this working museum, preparing planes for the Air and Space Museum in Balboa Park. I am fascinated with all the work that goes into preserving old planes. Many of the tools, plans and remnants were donated by a factory that went out of business. I wish I had enough knowledge to present them to you as they were built over time, but it's only a guess.

Or maybe it's these I'm looking for? |
US Army Air Corps PT-22 made by Ryan Aircraft factory in San Diego during 1941-1942. Trained cadets for WWII. How small it is compared to the wing in the background. |
Donated tools. |
Wouldn't you like to have tools like these? |
A plane started from scratch. |
The wood matches the blueprint. |
