Cabo San Lucas Part 5: Cigars, Fishes, and a Grasshopper

We didn't get a photo of the shopping mall, just think of large building with low ceiling, 8 aisles crammed with souvenirs, many that were the same which made for good bargaining. I bought a beautiful tiny creche' and Mary Ann bought one that was even smaller.
Along the way, a man was buying a hand rolled cigar and we watched as it was made.
Flatten the leaf.
Cut to size.
Roll around the
packed tobacco.

Cut the other end

Clip the end

As the boats pulled into port, local people would bring the catch of the day to the dock in large plastic bins on a dolly to the butcher. The people who were buying would have their bring pink plastic bags. OK, you fishermen, can you tell me what kind of fish this is? I certainly don't know.

See the bin with the fish in it?
And the fish skinned and ready to be flayed.
The pelicans were certainly happy to catch
any leftovers!!!!!

Nice large chucks for dinner.

Catherine and Skylar finally returned and ate lunch next door to Senor Frog.

Amazing what can be done with a palm frond!!!!
