I needed some rest and to get a minor repair done on the car, so I got reservations at Travis AFB, half way between Sacramento and San Francisco. I will be picking up a girlfriend from the SFO airport on the 15th. Much to my delight, the Jelly Belly Factory is next door to Travis and that's the first place I went.

On Friday, May 10th, I inquired if the Base Chapel was doing anything special for Mother's Day on Sunday. They said no, but tonight the Protestant men are holding a dinner to honor the mothers and we would be glad to have you! I said yes, made my reservation and went! I had to laugh because being Episcopal, I think I could go Protestant or Catholic and be very holy with either worship.
